Property in Willis' Wharf was being traded, sold and inherited back in the 1700s You will find 'Clam Town' on the seaside of the Eastern Shore peninsula about 60 minutes south of the Maryland line.

They fed us well at the E. L. Willis Store (built by Edward L. Willis in 185? to serve as a store). Mr. Willis would be very proud. Crab cakes -yummy, rock fish - yummy! And they did my fries to order.

The water tower below is in the back yard of the original Willis House" circa 1800, now 207 years old in 2007.
